In 2011, the Kapi’olani Community College STEM Program hosted multiple Summer Bridges. In addition to the regular 3-week Summer Bridge Program, three 6-week Summer Bridge Programs were also held. The activities performed during the various Summer Bridges included:
- Computer Building
- SeaPerch Underwater Remotely Operated Vehicles (UROV)
- Math Emporium
- Biodiesel
- Computer Aided Design (CAD) and SolidWorks
- And Guitar Building!

- 2011 STEPUP 3-week Summer Bridge
- This Summer Bridge will be held in the second half of the summer from July 5th-July 22nd, 2011
- This intensive 3-week program is designed to help students make the transition from high school to college
- IKE SEEK
- Application for the ‘IKE (Indigenous Knowledge in Engineering) Summer Engineering Experience
- This Summer Bridge will be held from June 13th-July 22nd, 2011
- This Summer Bridge is specifically designed for students who would like to major in engineering-related field
- This intensive 6-week program is designed to help students make the transition from high school to college
