2013 SURF Handout

On Thursday, April 4th, 2013, the STEM Program once again hosted the annual STEM Undergraduate Research Fair (SURF) at Kapi‘olani Community College. The SURF event is a great opportunity for KapCC students to showcase their research work. Projects featured during the event will include course related research projects, conference related research projects, and/or independent research projects.

Also, we would like to extend a big thank you to all of the following groups who made this year’s event possible:

  • The STEM Program Undergraduate Researchers for presenting their findings
  • The faculty mentors and course instructors who helped to guide the student researchers
  • The STEM Program staff members and student volunteers who assisted with set-up and registration
  • All of the students and guests who attended the event, including the wonderful guests from Kamehameha Schools and New York City College of Technology (City Tech)
